A Place to Relax in an Award Winning Devon Country Hotel
The six spacious and attractive bedrooms all have their own bathroom (five fully en suite). They all have colour television, clock radio, tea and coffee making facilities and a hair drier. The two deluxe bedrooms offer wonderful views of Dartmoor, one of which has a four poster bed and the other a superking double bed, both with CD players and filter coffee machines
Two of the rooms, in a cottage-style are on the ground floor off our Courtyard, with their own separate entrances. Both rooms are en suite with shower, etc. One of the rooms has French Windows opening onto the garden, enabling you to relax quietly outside your room or simply to have the doors open enjoying the fresh air and gentle breeze.
There is a large, comfortable drawing room providing blazing log fires when appropriate, a dining room and a separate lounge bar come library. The hotel has a residential and restaurant licence. Non residents are welcome for dinner, with prior booking essential.
Private parties can also be accommodated and we would be pleased to discuss individual requirements. With our previous background and experience, larger parties for Weddings and other celebrations can be accommodated with a marquee in the spacious garden and, in this way, we can cater for up to 200 guests. For such events, the hosts would need to book the establishment – for their exclusive use - for the weekend.
